Kerastase: split ends

So the latest split-ending-mending-lotion-potion is now on the market. While I like Kerastase in general, I also like saving my money on products that actually work. Now in the spirit of full disclosure I haven't actually tried this one (yet). However, I'm pretty sure the only thing that will "mend" split ends is a trip to the hair salon.

Cereal Issues

Check out PB Fingers post on cereal! Cereal is really a great treat post-workout, afternoon snack or as a great start to the day. Throw on some berries or a banana and you are good to go!

YUM.

Review: Clean & Clear Advantage popped pimple relief drying paste

Hey all!

This is a new product I picked up at the store. It's active ingredients are Salicylic Acid (0.5%). The stuff is pretty nice. Good for those little flare-ups, its smells faintly minty. The one drawback is it is supposed to change from blue to white when it dries by I've never noticed.

Overall:  Probably a re-purchase but not the best I've seen.

I love tootsie roll pops. However, they only last a few seconds with me!

Review: Fiber One Brownies

Background: I've been seeing ads for the 90 calorie Fiber One Brownies. Fiber One has really been on the scene in the past few years with cereal, granola bars, frozen muffins and muffins mix. These brownies tout 20% of your daily fiber and only 90 calories.

Type:  Chocolate Fudge or Chocolate Peanut Butter

Taste: Well you are definitely not going to confuse these for real brownies. That said, they are not bad considering they are only 90 calories. They do have chocolate chips baked in which are a nice treat, but the commercial and the packaging definitely make them seem like you might forget it is a real brownie- not so. While they aren't as bad as some pre-packaged foods, they still have that sort of taste of is any prepackaged food.

Pros: 90 calories and a nice morning or mid-afternoon treat
Cons: Smaller than I expected

Bikram

Hello All!

Well thanks to my current addiction to Groupon I signed up for a 2 month all you can handle Bikram Yoga class. If you are unfamiliar with Bikram Yoga it is one of the "hot yoga" trends where you sweat buckets due to the room temp. of 105 degrees. Bikramyoga.com

Basically it is 90 minutes in a sauna stretching and hoping that someone will pour a bucket of ice water on you. I've never been a fan of yoga but there is something about making it through 1.5 hours of torture. Well that's all for now!
